Magento 1.9.3.0 includes a range of bug fixes, security enhancements and recodes of certain core functionality.
- Support for PHP 5.6 in addition to PHP 5.4 and 5.5
- Security enhancements
- Password enhancements
- Removal of the flash file uploader
There are also a range of bug fixes:
- Tax calculations – subtotals on invoices is calculated correctly now
- Shopping cart and checkout fixes
- Catalog fixes
- Price rule fixes
- Configurable swatch display fixes
- Fixes for importing and exporting
- Fixes for the indexer

1.9.3 currently has a few known issues reported by the community. These include:
- Every product being displayed in full text search
- SOAP connection problems
- Some customers reporting auto generated password not being sent
- Dropdown attributes on frontend label disappears under certain conditions
- Undefined index session_expire_timestamp
- Free shipping using sales rules now calculated from subtotal excluding tax
- Exception addCrumbs()
- Problems with configurable swatches and product tabs
- PHP7 support using Inchoo module – a new module has been released, you will need to update.
